CHAPTER 11 PART 3

Jess saw the bus driving away and turned around to get inside. She entered the living room and saw Mandy sitting there, her arms around her knees.
“Hey hun, what’s wrong?” she asked.
“Nothing”
“That didn’t look like nothing. You had a fight with Bill?”
“No”
“What happened this afternoon?”
“Nothing! Just leave me alone, okay?” and with that Mandy left the room and went upstairs.
Jess sighed. What had happened that afternoon? She decided not to push it, and searched all her stuff that were still lying here. When she had everything she went to Mandy’s room and knocked on the door. She went inside and saw Mandy lying on her bed.
“I, euh… I’ m going home, okay?” Jess said. Mandy nodded.
Jess wanted to say something, anything, but didn’t know what. So she just turned around and left.

Meanwhile on the bus it was silent. Gustav was doing something, god may now what, on his laptop, and Georg and Katleen had disappeared again. Doing the things they did.
So tom and Bill were left alone.
Tom looked at Bill with his ‘what-just-happened?’ look and Bill sighed.
“I don’t know,” he sighed again, “yesterday evening and this afternoon were great. I kissed her, you know, and she kissed me back! I was so happy Tom, it was so great. But then she suddenly acted different. Every time I tried to talk to her she didn’t want to. She kissed me, or said we’d talk later… but later never happened.” Bill looked said.
“I don’t know what to do Tom! Everything was so great, and then before… She just gives me a hug and says it was nice!” Bill started to raise his voice, clearly frustrated; “No kiss, no ‘I’ll call you’, NOTHING!”
Tom looked at his brother with wide eyes.
“Why Tom? It’s not fair.”
“What’s not fair?” Tom asked, sensing Bill meant something more with that.
“You know… that you… but I… aargh, never mind!”
“What’s not fair Bill?” Tom started to raise his voice now, “That I got Jill pregnant? You’re jealous of that? Or no, wait! You’re probably jealous of how I feel right know! Yeah, that must be it.” Tom was really angry about now, “You even know what I feel Bill? Hu? Do you have any idea? I thought you’d understand, of all people. But NOOO, our little diva here decides that my life is all so perfect because ONE girl doesn’t fall for his charms immediately.”
Bill looked surprised at his brother, he had not expected that.
“Don’t look so surprised Bill, I’ll tell you how I feel. In about a week the magazines are going to be full about Jill and me. And everybody is going to judge me. Probably saying I’m going to be a lousy father, and that I won’t take care of the kid. And they don’t even know about Jess. I can see the articles in front of me: ‘Tom Kaulitz, secret love affair? Did he knock another girl up?’
I don’t even want to know what Jess’ll think about that. Because you know something? I DON’T WANT TO LOSE HER! But I’m pretty sure the press will do anything they can to put pressure on it, on us!
So don’t whine against me that you’re jealous of me just because ONE GIRL isn’t sure she likes you! Believe me, you don’t want to be in my place. God, I wouldn’t even want you to be in my place!” Tom ended his speech furious.
Bill looked at Tom, covered in guilt. “I’m, … I’m sorry,” Bill said speechless, “I never thought about it like that.”
“Clearly!”
“I… Don’t be mad Tom, please. I don’t want you to be mad at me.”
“I’m not mad Bill,” Tom sighed, “Just, don’t pretend I have this perfect little life. ‘Cause I’m sure when the press knows about it, It’ll all come down.”
When hearing the word ‘press’ Bill’s face fell, suddenly remembering something.
“Shit, the press… I have to speak to David, Tom!”
“What? Why?” Tom asked, already forgetting their argument just seconds ago.
“I… We…” Bill stumbled over his words, “before, when Mandy and I were kissing in the park, some guy from the press took photo’s of it.” Bill was panicking by now.
“You were kissing in a public park?” Tom grinned, “That’s not so smart hu!”
“That’s not funny Thomas!” Bill was really panicking by now, and took of, franticly searching the bus for David.
Tom grinned, what was Bill thinking? Kissing a girl in a public park. David wasn’t going to like this.
“Guus, what are you doing?” he suddenly asked.
“Hu… me? Nothing really.”
Tom raised his eyebrow in a way only he and Bill could do, but decided not to ask more. He stood up and went to the drivers cabinet to talk to Eddy a bit. That was always nice
