CHAPTER 7 PART 2

”JESS!”
Jess kept on running, she didn’t care what Tom had to say to her.
“JESS! WAIT”
Tears were falling from her eyes.
“Jess!”
she felt a hand grab hers.
“Let me go Tom, I don’t want to hear it!”
“Five minutes! That’s all I ask, five minutes.”
Slowly she turned around “Five minutes, that’s all!”
“Okay,” Tom took her hand and pulled her in a room.

“Where are we?” Jess asked.
“It’s Bill’s room”
“Oh”
“Jess, look at me please” Tom begged.
Jess looked up at Tom.
“She’s, god, how do I tell this” Tom couldn’t get out of his words “Jess, I didn’t want to tell you like this, but, Jill, she’s one of the most important persons in my life.”
Jess looked at him with tears in her eyes.
“Oh, girl, don’t cry. Please, don’t cry!” he said, wiping the tears from her face with his thumbs.
“Jess, she’s not my girlfriend! God, I’d never do that to you girl! Please believe me.” He pulled Jess in a hug, holding her close.
“She’s not?”
“No! God Jess, you’ve got to believe me! I’d never ever do that to you.” He pulled slightly back and looked her in the eye “This is going to sound stupid, but I’ve got to say it.” He looked her in the eye “Jess, I hardly now you! I’ve met you a couple days ago, at the bus stop, but since then I hardly thought of anything else! I’m falling in love with you Jess! I’m falling hard and fast. And I know this sounds stupid, ‘cause we’ve just met, and you don’t have to say anything back, but I just have to tell you!”
Jess smiled and tears were falling from her eyes “Me to, me to! I’m falling hard to!”
Tom releases his breath, which he wasn’t aware of he was holding and closed the distance between them. Their kiss didn’t last long and wasn’t full of lust like the last one but was sweet and tender. Full of promises and love.
A little later Jess pulled back, smiling, but her cheeks still wet.
Tom wiped the tears softly away wit his thumbs, placing soft kisses after it. Then he took her to the couch with him. “Jess,” he started.
“No, Tom, it’s okay.” Jess interrupted him “If you don’t want to tell me it’s okay. I trust you!”
Tom smiled at her. “No, I wanna tell you! I have to tell you!”
Jess nodded “Okay”
“Jill is, Jill is the reason I’m sitting here telling this to you. Jill is the reason I changed.” Tom started “You know my reputation as a player. As the guy from the one-night-stands.”
Jess nodded
“Well it’s the truth, I used to be like that. four months and a half ago I was like that. It was our first concert in Belgium. On Saturday we had this award show, which was awesome! We won like 4 awards that night! So after the show we went celebrating in the town. We went to a couple party’s had something to drink, got a bit wasted. Around 5o’clock Bill and Gustav decided to get back to the hotel. But Georg and I didn’t feel like it. So we went to this other club. Katleen was with us, so she and Georg were dancing when I met this girl, Jill. She went to the award show to, and would take the first train home at six o’clock. But well, we talked, were both wasted, and well, I guess I don’t have to tell you what happened right?
So the next morning we both woke up with an enormous headache and not many memories from the night before. We talked a bit, but I had to run for our sound check and stuff. So I gave her my number and said, to call me later. But she never really did. She sent me a message that it had been fun, but that it would stay with that one time. I didn’t really had a problem with that, since I already had found lot’s of other girls to amuse myself with!”
