Tom shut his phone and sighed. The three other boys looked at him and smiled.
“Oh, how cute, our Tommi is love-sick” the brown-haired bassist teased him.

Tom just glared at Georg and sat next to Bill on the couch.

Just before they entered the room Tom nudged Bill in the side “At least try to act happy this time, it’s for our fans.”

“Right,” Tom looked at Bill with his ‘I-know-you-better-then-that’ look while the four guys entered the room where the girls were eagerly waiting for them.

The four of them started smiling and the girls looked like they were about to faint.
It was cute to see some girls so eagerly to see them. It still felt a bit weird to the band; they still felt as normal guys. It was hard to imagine it was so exiting for these girls to meet them.

They shook hands, gave autographs and did some small talk with them. Then it was time to take some photos and they would be done with it. Tom and Georg were eager to get over with the photos so they could get going. Unfortunately the rest of them weren’t, so it still took a while.

“So,” Saki announced after the photo’s, “We got to leave now” The boys nodded and said politely goodbye to the girls. While shaking their hands one girl caught Tom’s eye. She hadn’t said much during the meet & greet and looked rather shy, but familiar at the same time. He shook her hand and while he was doing it he really smiled at her. It was not this fake ‘let’s-pretend-to-enjoy-this-so-we-can-get-this-over-with-smile’ but a real one. This seemed to take a bit of her shyness away and she opened her mouth. You could barely hear what she said, but Tom heard it: “Say hi to Jill from me.”
This made him smile. Not everyone was supportive about the whole Jill situation. Not that he had expected that.

Not that long after this the four teenagers were back at the hotel, getting ready to drive all night. Tom was waiting eagerly in the entrance of the hotel. Normally they always had to wait for him but this time he was even ready before Gustav. And that was difficult. Nobody was quicker than the blond drummer.
Not long after Tom, Gustav arrived at the entrance, closely followed by Georg. Now the three guys were waiting for Bill.
When finally ten minutes later Bill entered the entrance Tom rolled with his eyes and muttered “finally”.

“We are almost theeheeree, we are almost theeheeree”
Tom sang happily.
“Shut up Tommi” it came sleepily from the other cabinet, “some people are trying to sleep.”
“But I can’t sleep”
“So, we should all be awake?” his raven-haired brother replied sarcastically.
“Yes” Tom hopped out off his sleeping cabinet, opened the curtains and jumped in his brother’s cabinet.
“Tommi” said Bill … and he put his blankets over his head, trying to ignore Tom who was now sitting cross-legged at the end of his bed.
Tom ignored his brothers whining and started chatting happily about Jess, Jill, the girls from the meet & greet,… everything that was on his mind actually. Too bad that Bill wanted to sleep. If he was awake his twin brother should be awake too. That was how it worked in Toms mind.
“Tom, seriously, it’s 5.30 in the fucking morning. Go to sleep or keep one of the G’s awake.”
“But,” Tom started to pout, “You’re my twin, you should support me and stay awake when I’m awake.”
“Okay, next time I’m awake at 5.30 in the morning I’ll wake you too. Then we can be happily awake together. But right now I want to sleep!”
Tom thought about that, “No, I think you should be awake with me.”
Bill moaned in his pillow, slowly giving up the fight. If Tom wanted something he was damn sure he’d get it.
“Maybe I should call Jess to tell her we’re almost there.”
“Are you nuts? The girl is probably sleeping, like every sane person at this hour of the day”
“Night,” Tom corrected his brother.
“What?”
“It’s night, not day”
“Same thing”
“No it’s not”
Tom was awake, and Bill knew nothing would get his brother to go to bed now. He had his mind set on seeing jess and that was what he was going to do. Bill was sure the minute they arrived at the hotel Tom would start nagging at Saki and Eddy to bring him to Jess’ home. And they’d probably give in too. Nobody could resist the pouting brown eyes of a Kaulitz but a Kaulitz.
“Okay, it’s not, whatever”
“You awake yet?”
“NO” Bill groaned, “Hey, I have an idea, why don’t you go talk to Eddy? He’s awake, he’s driving, so I can go to sleep”
“Hmm,” Tom looked like he was considering it, “no”
Bill sighed and gave up, “Okay, you win” he said.
Tom grinned “So…”
“What?”
“You’re grumpy”
“What did you expect? Anyway, what did you wanted to say?”
“Mandy”
“What about her?”
“You’re going to see her tomorrow…”
Bill shrugged “so?”
“SO? Com’on Bill, what’s going to happen. You guys were getting along so well”
“Well, she made it clear she didn’t want to have anything to do with me last time”
“Come on, you’re giving up without a fight?”
“It’s kinda hard to fight when she’s not answering any of my messages or my calls isn’t it?”
“But you’ll see her tomorrow”
“Too late, she made herself clear”
