CHAPTER 14 PART 4

A couple of hours later Eddy pulled up in front of the hotel. Jill was still asleep, and instead of waking her up, Eddy picked her up and carried her inside. He lay her on the bed and Tom helped with making her comfortable and placing all her stuff in the room. He gave his son or daughter a kiss and tucked Jill in.
Then Tom went to his own room.
“Goodnight” Eddy said.
“Yeah, you too!”
Eddy grinned, Tom was in for a surprise.

Tom opened his hotel room with the key card and threw his stuff in a corner. He began to undress when he saw something in the corner of his eyes. He slowly turned around and saw someone lying in the bed.
“What the…?” he said, he walked towards the bed and yanked the covers from the bed.
“AAAAH!” Jess screamed suddenly awake.
“Jess?”
Jess looked around confused, o my, was that… “Tom!” she yelped happily and threw her arms around the boy. Tom was still confused and shocked, but the moment it hit him Jess was in his arms he pulled her closer to him, like he never wanted to let her go.
“What, what are you doing here?” he asked still confused.
Jess pulled slightly back so she could look him in the eyes, “Eddy called a couple of days ago, he arranged things so I could stay here, with you.”
“He did? That’s so nice of him.” Tom smiled, “the best surprise ever! Although, for a minute I thought you were a crazy fan that got the hotel and room information one way or another.”
Jess chuckled.
“But you’re way better,” Tom said.
“I know,” Jess grinned and looked at Tom.
“What are you looking at?” he asked.
“Just, you…”
“Why?”
“So I can remember you when you leave again tomorrow.”
“I’ve got a better idea to remember me,” he said, raising an eyebrow. He took his cell phone out of his jacket.
“Let’s make some photos of us”
Jess smiled and nodded enthusiastically.

10 minutes and a whole lot of photos later Jess and Tom lay on the bed. Face to face.
“I missed you,” Tom smiled.
“I missed you too,” she gave Tom a short kiss, “So, are you nervous about tomorrow?”
“Yes, like, I could die of nerves right know.”
”Everything will be all right,” Jess smiled reassuringly.
“I hope so. At least tomorrow we’ll know whether it’s a boy or a girl.”
“What do you want?”
“Truthfully?” Jess nodded, “It sounds cliché, but, a healthy baby. I don’t care if it’s a boy or a girl.”
“Well, as long as you won’t call it Sammy if it’s a boy, it’s all going to be okay.” She grinned.
“What? You too? Why not? Sammy is a nice name.”
“Tom,” Jess looked at him, “Come on, you are not going to name your first kid after your favourite singer.”
Tom looked stubborn, “Why not? I’m sure Bill would love to call his daughter Nena in the future!”
Jess chuckled, “You two are quite the pair, huh. The freakiest thing I ever did was calling my cat ‘Billie Joe’”
“Well, Jill wants to call her Maggie if it’s a girl, and Dave for a boy.”
“Huh, that’s not normal either… Simpsons or your producer…”
“Indeed”
“Hmm, you could always call her Jess if it’s a girl,” She smiled.
Tom laughed silently and placed a soft kiss on her lips, “Nah, It’ll be too confusing with you.”
“Well, you can call me Jessica… That’s my real name anyway.”
“Really?” Tom raised an eyebrow.
“Yes, but I hate it! Jess is way better!”
“Hmm, it is!” Tom smiled and kissed her again, “I’m so happy you are here!”
“Me too” and with that, they both drifted of to sleep.
