CHAPTER 14 PART 3
A couple of days later after the show, Jill, Tom and Eddy were on the road. Tomorrow they had the doctor’s appointment. Tom was quite nervous about that. He wondered whether Jill felt the same. He turned around to look at her, she was sitting in the backseat, but noticed she had fallen a sleep. Tom sighed, Jill slept a lot lately, he hoped nothing was wrong with her or little Sam (my). O yes, he stayed with that name. No change in hell, like Jill had so kindly expressed it, that his daughter or son would be named after the Simpsons or his manager.
”Maybe you should try to sleep a bit too.” Eddy said kindly to Tom, “you had a rough night, and when we get back in France you’ll have to start performing again. Try to rest a bit, we’ll arrive at the hotel around 1 o’clock.”
Tom nodded, “yeah maybe” and closed his eyes. But then he decided to send a quick message to Jess and opened his eyes again.

(Tom)
Hey babe
We’re on the road to Belgium!
I’ll finally see u again 2morrow
*happy*

Tom put his cell away, Jess was probably asleep anyway and closed his eyes.

Hundreds kilometres away, Jess read Toms message, she smiled, Tom was such a doll! She never thought that behind the cool façade there would be such a nice and sweet guy.
She sent a message too, but not to Tom.

(Jess)
Hey Ed
I’m already in the hotel.

Eddy felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He read the message and quickly answered it.

(Eddy)
Great!
Tom will be so surprised,
He still thinks we’ll drop by your place after the doctor tomorrow.

I can’t wait ‘till you guys are here!

Jess closed her phone and laid it on the night table. This was such a great idea of Eddy. Tom had called her a couple of days ago, announcing that when they went to the doctor, they would drop by afterwards. It wouldn’t be long, but at least they got to see each other.
A couple of hours later she got a phone call, again. But not from Tom that time. No, it had been Eddy. He proposed she’d go to the hotel they were staying in the night they arrived in Belgium. That way they were able to spend more time together. But she couldn’t tell Tom. It was a surprise.
Jess of course had happily agreed with this, so now she was sitting in this hotel room, all on her own. It would still be a couple of hours before they’d arrive so she decided to try and sleep a bit. She probably wouldn’t sleep much if Tom was here.
